Stapem Offshore Receives A Dive Support Vessel

South Africa's shipyard Legacy Ship Group for the French owner Stapem Offshore built a series of two catamaran diving support vessels in the first ship "Stapem Beluga" has been officially delivered.

 

It is reported that the "Stapem Beluga" flag flying the Marshall Islands, will be operating in the coastal waters of Angola, supporting a variety of oil and gas exploration and production operations. The vessel was designed by Incat Crowther and tailored to the owner's specific requirements.glenflange

 

Stapem Beluga is classified as Class A and is constructed of marine grade aluminum with a total length of 18.7 meters and a vertical length of 17 meters. It is 6 meters wide and has a draft of 1.16 meters and a depth of 2.5 meters. The speed exceeds 20 knots , The maximum speed of 23.5 knots, powered by 2 MAN D2876LE402 host, a single through a ZF360 gear box coupled to a Hamilton HJ403 water jet thrusters. Shipboard power and diving operations are provided by 2 Fischer Panda generator sets.
