Shipping Confidence Index Hits A Four-year High

Research shows that the average shipping confidence index rose from 6.2 in November 2017 (up to a maximum of 10.0) to 6.4 at the end of February 2018. The shipowner confidence index was also at a four-year high, rising from 6.4 to 6.6. Ship managers’ confidence index rose from 6.1 to 6.4.
