Nordic Tankers Group recently announced that it has decided to sell Danish oil tankers Herning Shipping to ANE shipping company.
It is learned that ANE Shipping is a new Norwegian partnership established by Camillo Eitzen & Co AS, Castel AS and Seahorse Maritime AS.glenflange
Nordic Tankers said Herning Shipping will be renamed Christiania Shipping when it is sold, with its headquarters in Copenhagen and its chief executive Axel C. Eitzen. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Eitzen said the founding of ANE Shipping and the acquisition of Herning Shipping will further publicize the company's strong relationship with its existing and potential customers and lay a solid foundation for its future business.glenflange
It is understood that Herning shipping fleet has 19 ships, of which 12 are owned boats. These vessels operate predominantly in Northern Europe and West Africa until they have a capacity of 3,000 to 11,000 cargo-tonne.
Earlier, Nordic Tankers also announced the sale of Crystal Nordic, a joint venture with Embarcadero Maritime, to Essberger Tankers. Crystal Nordic has 14 4000-12000 DWT ships.
