Daewoo Shipbuilding Delivered A 172,000 Cubic Meters Of Ice-grade LNG Carrier

On January 12, the "Eduard Toll" ship of 172,000 cubic meters of ice-grade LNG carrier built by China Daewoo Shipbuilding for China LNG Transportation (Holdings) Limited (CLNG) was officially delivered. glenflange


The "Eduard Toll" is the fourth of the 15 ice-class LNG carriers in the Yamal project in Russia and the first of six ships to be co-operated by CLNG and TEEKAY. The ship has a length of 299 meters and a width of 50 meters. It can hold 172,000 cubic meters of LNG and has a cargo hold evaporation rate of less than 0.13% / day. It has the capability of two-way icebreaking capability of Arc7 of Russia Classification Society. It can continuously break down under very low temperature of minus 52 degrees Celsius Arctic ice thickness of 2.1m free navigation.


China LNG Transportation (Holding) Co., Ltd. (CLNG) is a 50% owned subsidiary of China Merchants Steam Navigation (stock) and Dalian COSCO Marine Transportation Co., Ltd.
