British Petroleum (BP) has announced that it will sell 3 MR2 product carriers, unknown buyers.
VesselsValue data shows that the company sells vessels "British Courtesy", "British Serenity" and "British Tranquility", both of which were built by HYUNDAI MIPO DOCKYARD in 2005.
It is reported that these three British MR2 product carriers are part of BP's five Virtue class oil tankers and are operated by BP Shipping Limited and are classified as LR.
According to VesselsValue, it is estimated that the sale of these three MR2 product carriers will enable BP to earn $ 36.6 million in revenue.
The existing fleet of BP has a total of 31 vessels, including 15 oil tankers, three LPG carriers and two LNG carriers. In addition, another 6 are under construction.
