The most common problem during the use of stainless steel flanges is when welding, it is easy to have deviations in size. Because at the time of welding, the generated high temperature will cause some changes to the metallographic structure of the flange itself, and at the same time, the thermal stress will cause the flange to deform locally, which will have a great influence on the use. If the stress on the heat affected zone at the welding site and the metallurgical structure are not recovered, the device will be vulnerable to embrittlement or corrosion during long-term operation. If the discharge is not discovered in time, the safety hazard will be very serious during the operation.
During the installation and use of the stainless steel flange, check whether there is any leakage or the like at the flange joint at any time. If there is a leak, check to see if the connecting bolt is loose. If there is still leakage after excluding this factor, replace the flange gasket or filter it.
